Objective:

To provide essential winter protection by distributing warm blankets to the poor and underprivileged sections of society during the cold season.

Program Overview:

Shreel Foundation launched a Winter Relief Program in Deoghar to support vulnerable communities suffering from harsh winter conditions. The initiative targeted homeless individuals, daily wage earners, and low-income families who lacked adequate winter clothing.

Methodology:

To ensure effective and direct outreach, the organization deployed field workers across multiple villages in the Deoghar district. These workers visited remote and underserved areas, identified needy individuals through on-ground observation and community input, and distributed blankets personally.
This door-to-door approach helped reach people who are often left out of mainstream aid and ensured that support was delivered with compassion and care.

Impact:

A total of 120 beneficiaries received blankets, helping them stay warm and protected during the winter months. The program strengthened community trust and reinforced Shreel Foundation’s mission of serving the most vulnerable with dignity and empathy.
