Objective:

To strengthen the leadership skills of Self-Help Group (SHG) members by building their capacity in areas such as group management, financial literacy, decision-making, and community leadership. The program was designed to help SHG leaders take active roles in the development of their groups and local communities.

Program Highlights:

• The Leadership Development Programme was facilitated by NABARD, Dumka, with participation from multiple SHGs and NGOs.

• Participants were trained in leadership roles, responsibilities, communication, conflict resolution, and financial management within SHGs.

• The session aimed at empowering women leaders, encouraging active participation in rural development and sustainable livelihood programs.

Outcome:

Shreel Foundation’s representatives participated in the program to gain insights and tools that will help mentor SHGs in their own operational areas. The training supported the development of grassroots women leaders, laying the foundation for stronger community institutions.
